While our metallic or special fabrics such as hologram and mystique are very eye catching, these fabrics will dull with wear and repeated washing. Areas such as under the arms, the seat and the abdomen, or those areas that incur abrasion, may show some loss of foil or special effects. Please wash accordingly to the instructions on the garment's tag. With proper care your leotard will look great for a long time!

Use the following washing instructions for metallic, special fabrics such as hologram and mystique or leotards adorned with rhinestones:
Hand wash the leotard in a sink full of cold water. Use a good handful of table salt in the cold water to clean and sanitize the leotard. This also helps keep the fabric colors from running. Do not rub fabric together. Remove the leotard immediately, do not let it soak. Lay leotard on a towel and roll up to remove excess water then hang to dry.

DO NOT USE SOAPS, DETERGENT OR OXYCLEAN. DO NOT USE BLEACH OF ANY KIND!! DO NOT PLACE IN DRYER.

For all other fabrics:
Turn leotard inside out. Machine or hand wash separately in cold water on gentle cycle. Salt water is still recommended to keep colors fresh. Remove immediately and tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry.
